Skillet Pizza Dip

Why I Chose This Recipe:
February calls for something warm, shareable, and easy; whether you’re hosting friends for the big game or keeping things low-key at home. This one comes together fast and disappears even faster.

Use

  • Home-canned marinara or garden tomatoes you’ve put up

  • Local or homemade sausage instead of pepperoni

  • Fresh herbs (basil or oregano) if you have them on hand

  • Farm-fresh eggs optional - crack one on top during the last few minutes of baking for a richer dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan

  • Pepperoni or cooked sausage (optional)

  • Italian seasoning (to taste)

How to Make It

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a small cast iron skillet or oven-safe dish.

  2. Spread the cream cheese evenly across the bottom of the skillet.

  3. Spoon the marinara over the cream cheese, then sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan.

  4. Add pepperoni or sausage if using, and finish with a pinch of Italian seasoning.

  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned on top.

Serve warm with toasted bread, crackers, or sliced veggies.

Bonus Tip

Serve with homemade sourdough bread!!
